Jennifer Mundy, LMFT
Jennifer has worked with young children and their families for over 20 years. As a Marriage and Family Therapist Jennifer works with children who have experienced trauma as well as children who have other behavioral challenges. Jennifer teaches children and parents new skills to help process thoughts and feelings related to traumatic life events, manage and resolve distressing thoughts, feelings and behaviors and enhance safety, growth, parenting skills and family communication.
Jennifer has her Credential in Parent Education and has taught Parenting for 15 years. She is known for her inventive and creative teaching strategies in both the classroom and the therapy office. Jennifer helps parents understand how their own childhood experiences shape how they parent today.
Jennifer also works a mental health consultant, supporting children of all ages with challenging behavior, emotional and mental health issues in the classroom as well as at home. Reflective Supervision and Reflective Practice are provided to teachers, administrators and other helping professionals. Reflective practice groups as well as individual reflective practice sessions are available.
